A psychology thesis is a rewarding and demanding experience that allows students to make an original contribution to knowledge. Because original research in psychology involves the experimental study of humans or animals, careful planning is essential and begins during the junior year. This section of the concentration website describes the steps involved in planning, conducting, and presenting thesis research. We encourage you to browse this section as you are deciding whether to pursue thesis honors, and if you do decide to write a thesis, we expect you to know intimately all the material contained in this section.
